I think some of this is a bit of a stretch I don’t think maya is leaving she clearly says she wants to kill everyone involved in the first map and talks about having fun killing zombies so I think she is sticking around. Weaver’s response to Kraft isn’t related to Richthofens kids he’s shocked that a man would pay to torture his own father and conflicted that this good man raised such evil. I also don’t buy that we will spend all this time in Virginia I think we will go to another country for Janus towers and then return to Virginia for the final map. I also think there is a good chance we get 8 maps total 2 side quests for each characters so maya had 2 the maybe carver gets one since his personality has yet to manifest and then grey then back to carver and finally 2 for weaver resulting in him either killing Richthofen or the OG crew returning

I get your point but they have a load of down time and if they really were super ahead of schedule I think it’s a possibility we get more than 4 dlc especially how character development has worked it would feel cheap if the other 3 don’t get story beats in the next few maps so they either are going to double up (more likely) or make specific maps for them.

I dont know if you mean literally northern france because avalon is in southern france, so "the dig site isnt far" wouldn't make sense if it's on the other side of the country. the next map is most definetly gonna still be in avalon since they aren't doing any side stories where you play as janus operators for the rest of the game (confirmed on codpod)

I highly doubt it (because they mention that it is close in france) but if this dig site isn't referencing Origins, I hope that it's a dig site in Delphi, which connections and hints towards the cliffhangers in Ancient Evil. With all the magic with the Owl and the Guardian, i wouldn't be surprised if more magical or mythological beings start getting referenced from the Chaos story.
