Tbh I think being able to switch between packs mid game, completely defeats the purpose of having packs in the first place. Now you can just use every gobblegum without switching games

it still only gives you 1 of the gobblegums from your pack each gobblemachine spin. the only change is that you don’t chew them automatically right after spinning anymore and can hold onto 3 of them ‘in your back pocket’…. so you still wont be able to chew a gobblegum in a game unless its 1 of the 5 in your pack for that game

I think it’s better in that you can’t buy them with real money and you have to play to earn them. Also like how they are all consumables now. The gobble gums are OP so minimizing them a little is good for the game.

Agreed, the power to swap packs mid game will CHANGE THE GAME in such a big way. Not to mention, it will reset your gum cycle to that new pack. This basically lets you get like 4 wunderbars really quick (if you have four to spare) and get the wonder weapon from the box and knife it to share with your teammates. No more waiting for your cycle to finish!!!

only zombies with a decent map story beat all the maps in a row then a secret boss fight after the ee on the last map but starting the map with perkaholic wonder weapons in the box 25 grand kinda killed the reason to play shit got boring quick starting with loadouts as well like wtf is the reason for the box anymore or wall buys i liked when u started with a pistol had to kill to open doors buy perks upgrade your guns and having to do steps to get a wonder weapon is what was so fun about it the best is when they make everybody have to do their own steps to get 1 of 4 different versions of a wonder weapon like the bows on dier eisendrache or the staffs on origins mob had the tomahawk and the blundergat like each map was different and had different things getting the parts and building the shield like the loudouts and armor wasnt the way to go

It actually makes sense why there are no classics in this game. At any time, you will have Aether Shroud, thus you will have access to an ability as good, if not better, than In Plain Sight/Anywhere But Here. I truly believe Field Upgrades are the perfect way to balance there not being infinite use gums.

this is kinda nitpicky but i hope there's an animation for the gobblegums instead of there just being a menu that shows you what you got. maybe it could literally be a gumball machine that a bunch of blank gobblegums go into, and then when the gobblegums come out of the dispenser it turns from a blank gobblegum into an actual gobblegum or something. i think little details like those go a long way into making it feel more fun to just earn the gobblegums
