"What is that gun?", it's a Recoilless Rifle, probably the M40 105mm. Extensively used in Vietnam, by both sides. The USMC mounted 6 on the Ontos and used it in Hue for instance.

By both sides? I dont have any evidence to back this hunch but I think the Vietnamese didn't use the 105mm recoiless rifle (considering their extensive use of Soviet weapons and I'm not familiar with any Soviet 105mm recoiless rifles)

They also messed duo the timeline. Regan order the hit on arash and then has the meeting before he even takes office. All the events say they take place before January 20, 1981. They even show him being sworn in after that mission. Such an insanely obvious plothole

I just noticed in the Vietnam mission @32:37 the AK-47 that was used is actually a Chinese variant of the AK-47 which is the type 56(based on the iron sight and the folded bayonet) which is the most common AK variant that was used by North Vietnam and Viet Cong. I really admire that attention of detail, great job Treyarch.

i.. disagree. It's a setpiece.. it doesn't have to make all that much sense. Modern Warfare aimed for realism.. this game aims for something more in line with classic cod campaigns. Over the top action in some cool place and I think it's pretty damn awesome. Both MW and CW have their own charm
