Grounded is one of those games where is really pays off to explore beyond the story/quest items and pay attention to the items descriptions in the game. For instance, armor. Each armor piece/set has perks and there are a lot of armor sets in the game. There are also a few 'specialty' weapons that you can only get by special means and not by story progression. I know for video purposes, focusing on the story with exploration in-between is a great format, but it can work against you in this game. You spoke about getting up the fire pit without losing most of your health. There is a way, but it is complicated as it requires multiple items to make it happen. As for the ox beetles, there is a weapon that works great against them, but it is one of those special weapons you will most likely not obtain if you mostly follow the story line/quests. Ultimately there are a lot of optional....things...in the game that you will most likely miss just by focusing mainly on the story/quests. With that said, I am here to watch no matter what as I am enjoying your content very much. Just thought to give a little helpful food for thought.

Very useful tip for finding specific bugs you've already killed at least once. You can use the resource scanner that's present in every single field station, and search for one of the things that the bug that you're looking for drops i.e. search for "Black ox beetle parts" to know where black ox beetles are. The red dots that then appear on the map indicate where they are

I would highly reccomend getting antlion armour and the antlion greatsword. It's tier 3 gear, and the armour allows for safer harvesting of the charcoals I got a riddle for you: The hidden stump, the upturned grave The switch is located in the leviathan's domain A castle standing proud against the heat A weapon that has many ox bugs beat A key hidden somewhere in the sand A whiteboard giving a helping hand

You need to start using the scanner when youre searching for specific bugs or items around the yard, it'll save you a lot of time and headache. Every field station has a resource scanner in them, and finding them all can make target farming items so much easier.

That thing is a huge QoL, I was struggling keeping my muscle sprout farm properly fertilized till I realized I could just scan for rotten food, now I've got the route pretty much memorized

Hey butch, a piece of advice, you’re using a pretty good armour set, the ladybug armour is actually quite protective, even against the upper years bugs, but you have to level it up to level 9, also it looks like you’re ignoring the milk molars, you really should collect those and increase your health pool, the more total health you have the less damage you get proportionately. Your scab e shows a molar icon on it , in the upper middle area, when you’re near one. Great video and hopefully this advice helps you out

There are SO many things i can't wait for you to discover! I don't think this could be considered a spoiler since there is nothing in game to tell you this, but if you eat 10 mint shards, you can max out a mutation that will help you deal with the Sizzling. I don't know of any other way to get that without just eating them.

That big box is actually something you need to go inside of to get the chip. This isn't very well communicated in the game, but the entrance is on the front of it at the ground, and it's blocked by dirt. To get rid of the dirt and unlock it you need to piss off some wasps first, then sleep overnight. I wonder what's inside...

To get the burgl chip in the brawny boy bin you would need to knock down 3 wasp nests in one day then sleep and then you should be able to do the stuff inside to get the chip but this will make wasps swarm the yard and raid your base

The Antlion Armor set is really good for coal harvesting. Plus, sometimes the Ladybug Larva drop a trinket that gives Sizzle Protection. And eating a mint temporarily decreses sizzle. Eat enough of them to get a mutation to have even more Sizzle Protection. I can cross the Sandbox with the equivalent of no sizzle at all now

TIP: Elemental and Weapon type weaknesses only add 25%-50% extra damage. So, if you have a very high damage weapon, it may do more without the bonus to damage, than those that have the bonuses.

For Sizzle protection here's a combo that will allow one to stand on burning coals while they harvest coals and still have time to do the Safety Dance. Antlion Armor Set + Fresh Defense 3 Mutation (eat mints), Insulating Larva Spike Trinket, and Quesadiantlion Meal = Sizzl B' Gon!

Over by the wheelbarrow on the right side of the yard there's more beetles also there's a door leading to under the shed and there's more there BUT be warned you will find more than what you bergened for so stick to the beetles

It's not your fault. The mechanic of busting being placed on Bugs is the biggest Newb trap in the game. No way you could know any other weapon would be better. I shed a tear for you. They should remove that weakness and just have salty being the only one. That way people could at least come to the correct decision to try a salty Mighty weapon or anything else they made salty. The worst part is upgrading you Termite Axe (Chopping) is the best thing you could do. It's an amazing weapon. Bad Obsidian! =)

Butch if you look for the garden gnome behind the gnome is a stick to climb then jump to the wall leap across the gap in the stones build a ladder and your up to the next level without burning the crap out of yourself sir 👍 or you could go to the sand pit collect a whole load of antlion heads n stuff make yourself antlion armour that way th3 heat won’t bother you nowhere near as much, hope this helps oh and thanks for the videos man love your soh man

FYI the Hammers (the tools) are realllllly not good as weapons, don't use them for killing things! if something is weak to busting, you can use clubs or maces like fresh mint mace etc :)

Your playthrough IS interesting, but to me personally when people say you're "brute forcing" the game it does not mean you're a legend at it, it just means you're missing a lot of the fun. You haven't built a base, no ziplines, you're always rushing to get higher level stuff (and I have no problem with that, it's YOUR playthrough, proof that I have no problem with it is that I am binging all episodes), but it just feels like you would've enjoyed the game more if you had taken time to actually experience it like a teen that has been miniaturized, if that even makes any sense lol.
