‘Black Panther’ costume designer Ruth E. Carter explains storytelling through fashion

The Oscar-winning costume designer worked closely with director Ryan Coogler to develop the costumes - and it all started with a blanket. In “Wakanda Forever,” Cater's work is even bigger and bolder.

Miss Carter is a phenomenal treasure she is the GOAT. One cant help but get chills in seeing her genius exhibited in her work. The black diaspora should be proud of its legacy. No other race mode of dress evokes this level of pride that I feel when I look at the artistry in fabric, jewellery etc etc.

I had a student with a similar speech pattern. He was absolutely brilliant and his creativity was divine. Sadly, he was often bullied because of it. He is now studying at MIT and I know he will do great things in this world. Coogler is absolutely brilliant as well.
