I still think Statues is one of the greatest rock albums of all time. Incredible sound, incredible song writing, consistent and incredible performances. I swear the only reason they didn’t get mainstream is their melodies on that album were just barely too strange for a mainstream rock audience. Which I think is one of statues biggest strengths.
