I didn’t hear anything about a recall from Target or any other retailer for that matter

Soooooo using what our great grandparents used is best. Got it!

My family loves the free black plastic tableware and boxes that we get from takeout. And the nonstick cookware that they use daily. And they put the black plastic tableware in the dishwasher. IDK how I'm going to get rid of it all. It's clogging up our tableware drawer and they have bags of it all over the house. I get yelled at for throwing away their favorite soup spoons..Are these chemicals addictive?

They need to put notices on all takeout food containers and plastic storages containers to “not HEAT and eat out of!” Otherwise people will just think it is a hoax.

We gotta go back to hemp, hemp instead of wood so we dont have to cut down a buch more trees for wooden utensils.

Only purchase wooden utensils that are made from bamboo. It’s a highly renewable resource and incredibly durable.

these companies make it sound good that they’re re-using materials, when in reality they’re just cutting their own production costs.

What about heat resistant spatulas that you can use when cooking? I have a red one. Are these also unsafe to use? Please CBS NEWS read the comments and clarify for us. And if anyone here knows please clarify. Thanks. … I’m so glad I didn’t purchase the black electric hand mixer with black whisks. I don’t like the black aesthetic anyway so that kept me from purchasing it. Thank goodness!! 😅

He said ALL plastic, even non-recycled "virgin" plastic, is toxic, Plastic is yet another toxic product pushed upon us by big oil companies. First, they destroy our planet, then they poison us, all to make get rich!

Carbon steel frying pans are an easier alternative over cast iron.

When I was a kid nobody had autism. There wasn’t anyone confused about gender. Cancer was very rare. WTF!

Cast iron, ceramic, wood, glass, and silicone belong in the kitchen. Plastic does not. Be safe out there. 🩵

I have black gloves made from nylon textile, they’ve left my hands stained dark for years. After two years the stain is finally starting to lighten. I sometimes wonder how closely our government inspects products. They should probably be inspecting low cost products from China, especially the ones that through contact could effect fertility, lifespan and intellectual development.

I developed hypothyroidism during pregnancy. My son developed it after birth and was diagnosed with autism. I wonder if that had to do with all of that. If we could only turn back time and change what made us sick…

We've been using them for years. Someone get bored & look for something to panic about? Or did someone change the materials used!?

What about automobiles. The dashes are made of plastic and it’s been shown that the heat through the windshield causes its plastic to give off a gas, which is what ranks our windshields on the inside dirty but what are these gases doing to our bodies as we sit in a confined car breathing in The air conditioned possibly toxic air?
@Ben-Rogue2 ай бұрын
That's what "new car small" is. Toxic off-gassing from plastics, glue, electronics, etc. Manufactures recommend not sitting in the car with the windows rolled up for weeks to months after purchase... Good reason to never buy a new car, but older cars have their own issues when the interior materials, such as the foam in the seats start to break-down into a fine powder, or as mold grows in the interior behind the trim

I have switched my pots and pans to stainless steel and cast iron, I am going to do the same for my plastic utensils as well.
