Hey Chod, I'm glad you enjoyed this tune. I agree with you that many young people don't have an understanding of the history of music. And how their music has roots to older generations of music. But I believe partly due to highly unusual circumstances caused by "the pandemic" (COVID19) I think people were forced to slow down and there by gave this "roots rock" movement a chance to take hold. People were bored and turned to music and began to be exposed to these beautiful classics. You and other reaction channels like yours were a part of helping to introduce the world to "Golden Oldies" Anyway, I'll stop gushing and suggest another song by the Black Pumas, if interested. "Black Pumas - Colors (Live at Abbey Roads Studios)" (by the channel: Black Pumas) --This is from their first album, Self-titled and released in 2019. They are a modern band and if you continue to enjoy their work, I'd suggest checking out one of their concerts. One of my favorite band today. they are raw and very talented!!! Love their music. I have their 1st album....a Masterpiece!!! Picture this: The soul of Curtis Mayfield meeting the soul of Jimi Hendrix...you get "Black Pumas." I love this. Totally Indie vibe. But Old School in playing instruments and Melodies without using Hip-Hop riffs or Rap cadence....very old school....love it!!!

Black Pumas is an American psychedelic soul/Rock band based in Austin, Texas, led by singer/songwriter Eric Burton and guitarist/producer Adrian Quesada. The group received its first Grammy Award nomination in 2020 for Best New Artist. I think whoever was Eric's parents, they must have really liked Eric Burton & War and Eric Burton & the Animals.....because his name is exactly the same name. Love it!!! I discovered them in 2019 on You Tube when they performed "Colors" which became their first hit. Next thing I knew they were nominated by The Grammys as Best New Artists. Then they performed for President Biden. so I love them, The band just released their 2nd studio album, "Chronicles of a diamond" released in 2023. I recommend you react to "Colors." It is FIRE!!!!
