I was fortunate enough to catch these guys open up for Spiritualized in Atlanta back in the early 2000's. I had never heard of them but fell in love instantly. So good.

I was able to get a copy of this in 2000 and listened to it nonstop. There are some great songs on here that not a lot of people have heard. Down Here and Failsafe are so great. Screaming Gun is another one but Anton Newcombe felt it was too much like one of his songs so they didn’t re-record it. I also prefer this version of Evol. Thanks for posting this!

It sounds like Rob with his inflections, especially during the bridge. I think it's just tough to tell with the EQ.
