Black River Falls UTV and ATV Trails in October

It was a ok place. I would like to try it in the snow there. The trails open back up in about 3 weeks as long as it’s below 30*. We are going to put a heater in it and try it out

These trails can be fun. I go up there a lot. I've stayed at the hotel you mentioned. Nicely placed with food options and a gas station. I also stay at the Casino and use their load/unload area when I go up for a day trip. I go up a lot on the weekdays as it is less busy. It does get choppy as most of the trails are sand. The trails get really interesting when it rains. Go way north, and there are some fire roads than you can really open up your machine, and if you like to swim, there is a really nice beach. Lots of deer and other wildlife up there to see also. Hope to run into you up there sometime.

I go to the same hotel. And love that place me and my family love to watch the elk and ride the trails. I definitely recommend it

Black river is rather fun.. however there are some major risks as you pointed out. Head a little more north, and its a much better time.

Ah man! Just kills me that I had to bow out on the ride, hopefully come spring you'd be interested in a return an we take you way further north than Doc's Bunkhouse, we'll show you Snyder park loop and head to rock dam area...so nice!! Glad you had chance to come!!!

Jacob Wagner we rode with some people we meet Friday night and sat at docs for 6 hrs. I was not happy. 65 miles in 12 hrs not fun at all. The trails where ok for the most part. Extremely tore up by Saturday night but to be expected. It’s much nicer up north.

@@sxsmarine4075 I hear ya! Like I said in my Dm to ya, our group had done a ride the previous weekend to plot out a full day of riding (especially worthy of you travelling so far). We started in millston, bypassed doc's, (we've been there done that), we pack our own coolers/snacks etc, and rode way further north, so many other scenic stops on way to see than a bar top...hopefully a future ride, will be 180-90 mile loop...

Great video. We will be making our second trip of this year to Wisconsin in September. This trip we'll be riding the Dunbar/Pembin area and Florence trails. We might even cross over into the U.P. since we already have our trail passes. We have been to almost every area of Wisconsin except Black River falls and that, is mostly because of the crowded conditions. However, we may have to venture up to give it a try.

I was with some people that just wanted to drink and not ride so my experience was not very good. I do plan on going again and give it a second chance. Didn’t get to see much of it but the inside of the bars.

Dan Schulze I’m up there 4-5 times a year. I would like to try getting up there in the winter and ride. Don’t know what that would be like

Dan Schulze I have a full cab without heat that is ok. Saturday night on this ride it got down there. If it gets colder we have electric blankets that plug in to the cigarette lighter.

I go up there pretty much every weekend, no speed limits on the trails, only a couple places in towns do, I can cover all the trails in Jackson and Clark County in about 6 hours, let me know next time u go up and don't bring that grandpa you were following 😅
