Available Now: mercury-studios.lnk.to/BlackS...
After nearly fifty years it was the final show of Black Sabbath’s Farewell Tour back where it all began in their home city of Birmingham, the industrial heart of England.
There could be no more appropriate place for the Godfathers of Heavy Metal to take their last bow. Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi and Ozzy Osbourne delivered a set that focused on Black Sabbath’s classic seventies albums, the albums that defined a genre and inspired future generations.
It was an extraordinary, emotional night for both the band and the fans and one that will never be forgotten.

I keep seeing people say that Ozzy was out of tempo or something, and listening to the original, I can hear it now. The thing I don't understand is how some people act like just because the tempo may be a bit off it ruins the performance. I honestly prefer this live performance over the original performance. The song aged well and I love how much deeper and dark this one sounds. Ozzy's voice being different, older, deeper, and the great new sounds from the instruments they used here are so great and I would say add so much more power to feeling of the song. Going back to tempo, I honestly don't understand why people care so much. Yes, it has it's own way of making the song unique and creepy, but it doesn't make the entire song. The dark, bone chilling, addicting vibe it had before is still there, and again, I'd argue that now since time has passed it's added to the strength of it. I can't stop listening to it and giving into the chaos of it all. It's really great.

This is the last Black Sabbath show, so they decided to end where It began in a way (the lack of Bill Ward not withstanding).

What is this that stands before me? Figure in black which points at me Turn around quick, and start to run Find out I'm the chosen one Oh no! Big black shape with eyes of fire Telling people their desire Satan's sitting there, he's smiling Watches those flames get higher and higher Oh no, no, please God help me! Is it the end, my friend? Satan's coming 'round the bend people running 'cause they're scared The people better go and beware! No, no, please, no!

Well Black Sabbath members created a tribute to Sabbath (Heaven And Hell) with Dio, and it can be seen as better so... only sabbath can do better than sabbath

I am 61, been listening to Sabbath since 1971, saw them in 1978, and I just realized that I had NEVER heard this song done WITHOUT Bill Ward. The connector of Geezer Butler and Bill Ward is TOTALLY missing in this case. I am just giving something that stands out as far as I'm concerned. Geezer's playing bass as topnotch as ever, but Bill Ward's perfectly matched drumming sure is MISSING!

Maybe that's why Ozzy sounds out of whack. Doesn't have that sinister darkness he usually does. He seems preoccupied.

@Neil Blööm Without Bill Ward it's not really Sabbath, Bill was in tune and played with Geezer and Ozzy's vocals. This guy is the closest to Bill I've heard, but it's not the same.

I seen many a heavy metal bands throughout the years , but the only band that at the end of its concert that has left me out of breath, spent , unable to speak ,weak at the legs , has been BLACK SABBATH. Truly my first love for heavy metal in 1970 and always be.
