Headless Cross is one of my favorite Black Sabbath albums. I regard it as a masterpiece and a very solid album. You can listen to it from start to finish and back again without getting tired of it. It is Black Sabbath's heaviest and darkest album. One more thing. RIP Cozy Powell. We'll sadly miss you. His drumming on the album was unparrelled and mind blowing.

Love Headless cross, its a classic album. RIP Cozy Powell. Tony Martin is my favorite Sabbath singer. Cross purposes is my favorite of all the martin era albums especially, because Geezer came back. Would love it if Geezer, Iommi & Martin reunited

@@husq48 yeah they basically only played in the Northeast they didn't play anything in the midwest or the West and on the tyr album they didn't even tour in the United States on that yeah they're tours really fell off bad during that year not to say the band is bad it made some good albums they just probably should have tried a different name it might have gone over a lot bigger and they would have done better and of course a better record label would have been good

Headless cross is good but I like Eternal Idol better. Got it on vinyl when it was released........ Was calling record stores and got it immediately when it came out. And then there's Mob Rules, wow.,... what an incredible representation of the Black Sabbath sound and one of their best looking album covers.

I saw that tour. The fans really pissed off a band called Kingdom Come who was on tour with Sabbath at the time. They got booed right on the stage. It was at the Orpheum Theater in Boston

I think this album is perfect! One of the best Sabbath works ever! Tony Martin sings a lot but, as a frontman , he is not the iconic frontman for a band like Sabbath. It must be a cruel task to replace two sacred figures as Ozzy or RJD, so charismatic. Watch these live footages: Tony Martin stands there in the middle of the stage doing nothing just holding up the mic stand . But I love these era

I need 2 be honest.....during the 80's and 90's Tony made some truly amazing albums but also just a few really bad ones in my opinion.... I didn't like forbidden, Born Again and Dehumanizer but Heaven and Hell, Tyr and Headless Cross were fantastic
