Glad you brought up the lyrics. Black sabbath was looked at as devil music. But when you actually listen or read the lyrics you understand sabbath was actually deep.

Yes, this British 52 year old song was written by the great lead guitarist Tony iommi (eye-OWE-me), who is generally correctly credited with having invented metal, and the great lyrics by bassist Geezer (Terry) Butler are still very relevant even after all these years. You did a great job! :)

Wow Dani, hitting some real old school rock in the metal pioneers, the incredible Black Sabbath. The album this comes off of spawned several genres of heavy music and they are amongst the most influential groups of all time. Ozzy Osbourne has become a Pop Culture Ikon but the original band in total, defines their sound and inspired millions to take up instruments. Freedom from the final suicide was the day I got my DD214. I was on nuclear bombers in the end of the cold war, we would launch bombers at 3am to reach their destruction zone before noon. Of our shop of 12, 4 have already died of the same cancer, guess nukes, radar and chemical warfare are not really good for us. Sorry to be a buzz kill but this song hits home for some of us.
