snowblindu it’s an easy song, but it’s hard if you are a beginner especially the whole song, if you need to just learn it in small pieces

you're not wrong at all. People can argue for days about how your supposed to do this and it's supposed to sound like that , but in reality you can open and close a song however you want, as long as your technique is solid it won't matter in the end

I've seen it played by putting a bit of pressure on the E string at the top of the neck before the first fret. I'm pretty sure it was Tony Iommi I seen doing it

it's supposed to be a open low E strum and you bend the string behind the nut of the guitar

I personally think the whammy bar would sound cooler than holding the string in from of the nut but I mean it still sounds fine
