I'm 72 listened to all the great rock bands from the 60's to present and played in one or two cover bands. I would rank these guys right up there amongst any pro band you care to mention. They are one of the best bands I've ever had the pleasure of listening to.

My compliments to the drummer, who did a great job emulating Bill Ward's style and not trying to insert his own stuff in the beat all the time, as many do !

They appear to be clean cut all Americans!!
@NeighborhoodPicnic-vc2rf2 жыл бұрын
Why would you be stunned. This music was a huge influence to most of us as its what we were learning as young musicians. As a 15 year old drummer in 71, I Loved Black Sabbath. We were your typical hippies of the day(not clean cut) and we certainly knew the meaning of all these songs. Now we are fine upstanding old guys who love to rock!

@@NeighborhoodPicnic-vc2rf BUT, did you know WHAT the song is about??

Sorry, I didn't read the last part of your reply. I was one of those young dudes experimenting with the drug of the day(pot) and eventually found it to be detrimental to my mind and health.You guys are an inspiration to me and I continue to discover more of your videos!!

I went to the Black Sabbath video to get the correct spelling and it is Tony Iommi that is the lead guitarist!!

I never did the hard stuff, just marijuana and I did Hashish once with a high school buddy who lived in Philly during the time I was living in Ardmore. We had a "high" time touring Philly late at night!!

Now that we have established the fact that members of this band MAY have delved in drugs in there youth, how many of the audience will know the meaning of the song??

I see a keyboard that’s not being played? That mellotron on the outro is absolutely crucial to the song. It really doesn’t work without it.
