I think, it should show the feelings and thoughts of Miranda, when she first met James McGraw! I love the triangle of their relationship. She loves both men and both men loved her and each other. But I think, what both men connects is beyond friendship or pure love.....they were real soulmates and lovers! And Flint's hate against himself for not trying to help Thomas before they left, grew more and more with all the years go by! I loved that Silver took him to Savannah where he met Thomas again....and I guess, he met himself again.....James McGraw! At least I hope for him, down there in Savannah....even in captivity....he find his own freedom with his soulmate and love, Thomas!
