I come back to this video (and the show) so often! 4 years after ending and still almost nobody has seen this show. Black Sails is the god tier of modern television. Breaking Bad had a very artsy cinematic look to it, but I think Black Sails tops it in almost every other aspect. It's the closest think we've got to Shakespearean quality writing in the visual medium. Truly unmatched.

I remember seeing most of season one and some of season two, then it was gone. What happened? Did they run out of money? An incredible show. I didnt see the rest of it because.. believe it or not, I was building 60 foot square rigged ships.

I saw this tribute. I opened it and saw flint says, "they paint the world full of shadows". I exit the video. I went and i watched the whole show I loved it. I came back here and watched this tribute and it made me very emotional. One the best and underrated TV shows of all time.

No, not that. That's easily removed by clicking "Annotations" to off. There seems to be a "filter" over the entire video image. Like an Instagram filter. Essentially a color/ lighting modification. Either you added that in video editing, or the videos you downloaded already had a filter applied to them. In some cases, like the sweeping landscape shots, this particular filter doesn't look half bad. However, any shots with the actors in them looks a bit "off".
