Yes BS5 have hdr10 but still no hdr capabilities for Netflix. Netflix is so slow when it comes to update support.not many model have hdr capabilities for Netflix.

BS5 is probably gonna be the best SD870 device of all time, since I don’t see any other phone releasing that chipset in 2022… it’s gen 8 1 now, which is why I’d probably get the 5pro, even with heating and cpu issues that benchmark score of over 1mil is too seductive

bro, check out redmagic 7 /7 pro throttling stability, and rm7 obsidian costs around 630$ or so imo its the only phone to consider with sd 8gen1

in my case rm7 pro even after 1:30h of genshin on maxed out settings +4xmsaa gives stable 60 fps, even though it becomes really hot

@@hanabiilesley yeah, the Chinese rom rm7 256gb is about the same price as global bs5 pro 512gb here in Malaysia. The 7pro is the best but expensive.

@@hanabiilesley becoming really hot = damaged internals overtime like a lot of issues happened with 4 pro with battery and more internals stopping working...or screen stopping working when you use coolers because heat + cool of the cooler can result internal moist in the screen...

It's around MYR2000+ for the Blackshark 5 base model. It's just a way better option to get the Legion Y90 compared to Blackshark 5

Only 1 thing let it down. Its 7nm chip - contemporaru gaming phones should be 5nm or less. But again its design for budget with decent function not top end performance.

@@mox6466 black shark 5 is more optimized even with the same chip also better cameras (i know it's a gamer phone but having better camera is a plus) also the black shark 5 have the 120w charger out of the box but for the black shark 4 you need to buy it seperately on the global version they give you 65W charger) also better cooling on the bs5 because BS4 back is made of plastic...slightly better battery) for the 3.5mm i cant even use it when gaming on the BS4 because of the port placement...if you put it you can't reach the triggers...also more resistant triggers on the bs5...
