Hey, hey Nate, Dee and Dory! I like what you did with this week's theme - sometimes I think I have too much black in my wardrobe, but it works so well with so many things that I really do get my use of those black items - pants, jackets, turtlenecks, tank tops, etc. all work with almost any color so black is a basic item for me.

Dee is so with you on that. 😀

Hello ladies! Soooo you’re going to my neck of the woods! “The Gulf” (Gulf Shores, AL) was a little sleepy town when I was growing up. Enjoy the sugar white sand and wear sunscreen! And yalls outfits are beautiful! Hey hey Nat!

Dory is loving the beautiful area. Sunscreen is a must! Nate says hi!

Dee if you want to put that collar on, cut it either in the centre-back or on the left side so it will be open asymmetrically. Turn in the raw edges just slightly and slip stitch them closed. Then you can make some button loops either with fabric or crochet and put a couple of buttons on there. There is always a workaround.

Such a good suggestion!

Good morning and Hey Nate! You two always do such a beautiful job on your makes. I will be watching for the apron video. Dory, I hope you have a wonderful and safe trip. I live one hour away from Gulf Shores in Mobile. I am not sure if you do any type of needle work such as needlepoint or cross-stitch, as there is a neat little store call Creative Needle Arts in Gulf Shores. There is a small quilt shop in Foley called Cassity's Nest.

Gulf Shores is a fun place. I live in north Alabama. I have heard that you want at least 2 inches of ease in the bust.

Dee’s top could be effective with colour blocking with the side panel, if made again. It’s a cool detail you could then see better.

Yes, we agree with that!

Could you cut the collar you made down the back and add velcro to close it? That way you would have 2 different ways to wear it.

Great idea!

Do you think you could put two pieces of the fabric you used instead of interfacing. Maybe
@sewingfun Жыл бұрын
Dee thinks it needs a little more structure than the fabric can provide.
