I didn't require any hints to know what the darkening of the environment and feeling/sensing a black presence meant......Black Vanguard Lindamea~♡ I also love how the dialogue is slightly different in both BS1 and BS2 when Lindamea is nearby except, in BS1, It is "You sense a black presence" and in BS2, It is "I sense a black presence". It's slightly different but It goes to show how much control Grimm now possesses in this new world as compared to the old one, because now he can actually narrate his own thoughts rather than having another person do so for him~☆

@@WARUEL It could've just been another thing Toro did to shift the tone from Black Souls 1 to Black Souls 2 and holds no lore significance whatsoever, but It is something cool to think about and sort of does tie in lore-wise as well (Grimm definitely wouldn't refer to himself in third person, so the second game's first person perspective is more accurate, but given the difference between how Mary and The Crawling One chose to insert themselves into their respective stories and their overall personalities and way of doing things, It adds up)~☆ Grimm definitely has more freedom in BS2 than in BS1 because Mary went out of her way to constantly interfere in the story (seen best when she kept on killing those who would try to expose her despite allowing It to happen as a means to mess with Grimm in one way or another) and even decided to be a part of It as a lead heroine, but unless It was absolutely necessary (exempli gratia, Jabberwock reverse capture scene and The Grand Guignol's dream trap), The Crawling One never directly interferes nor cares about making Grimm feel bad or hopeful only to take said hope away, all she cares about is watching an eternally-repeating love story that won't ever come true (what Node says in ending G and what The Crawling One says to Grimm in ending H) to understand love, so whenever she does interfere, It's only when Grimm can't progress (Jabberwock/GG) or when he seriously (as proven by her only getting a bit jealous because Grimm was being hesitant in the Lorina bedroom scene in the castle) forgets about his "goal" of finding Alice (which would be detrimental to the love story, especially since she's Alice in the play)~☆ And coming to points more relevant to the Upper Lutwidge scene, people formed an alternative theory that The Crawling One had this influence over Grimm with respect to SEN (which doesn't make sense because Red Hood related stuff is at 0 SEN (when he's sane)), and she was trying to make Grimm kill her (but why only then?) or another silly theory that states Grimm was just showing signs of Carroll's obssession with Alice (disregarding the theme of the entire game and the fact that Carroll is a soul within Grimm), so what you're referring to (soul influence) is separate from what I'm referring to (narrative control)~☆ Also, aren't you da guy who I sent the friend request to on Discord just today~?☆ Acceeepttt pwese~!☆
