CGAstym so he made Dubstep in the past, I'm surprised that hes not as well known today, especially since hes been doing this since 2009 or even longer probably, seems kinda odd but either way I always loved his style on Drum & Bass :)

Haha yeah, I just thought I share - since it's really the very first upload on UKF Dub. That got me into bass music now 6 years ago. I think a lot of producers changed their genre from time to time - especially since its only a technical thing - even the synths are mostly the same. You may say that some are doing so for more commercial success ( Dj Fresh e.g.) but I guess its just to expand your creative capacities.

I'm jealous of the amount of incredibly talented DNB DJ's and producers and the saturation of party's and festivals in London, and Europe in general. I went to my first party in Oakland, CA in 1999 when I was 15. I and my crew fell in love with dnb/jungle. There would be 2 or 3 main rooms, and the jungle room would always be the smaller, less decorated, but it just had the sound that drew me to it night after night and I could always find my crew back in the jungle room after going for a little journey through the rest of the party. The DNB scene in the bay area is all but dead now in my opinion. I have to drive to southern California for Bassrush or Las Vegas for EDC to actually see an act worth paying for. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the grimy underground rave but I prefer a massive or as they say now EDM festival. Andy C preformed like a 6 hour set somewhere in the UK tonight, and Insomniac threw a party in SF called Crush that didn't have one fucking dnb dj on the lineup. The point of my rant is this...I'm jealous of all you limey bastards that get to see the best of the best when it comes to dnb on a weekly basis. While I sit here in one of the most desirable places to live in the world but the people here just want to wear candy bracelets and furry boots and prance around to psy-trance while giving each other light shows. Trance music makes me gag. Ok rant over you can proceed with your world class artists performing in your backyard next weekend, while I sit here counting the months down to EDC!
