I was an undergrad student at Bowling Green in percussion when Eric was a grad student. He directed a few ensembles I was in. I remember he always was wrapping mallets. I had a prototype set of tympani mallets he made with bamboo shafts and I stupidly gave them to a student. I’ve been interested in watching the company over the years.
