I finally found you… I’ve been watching your videos since I was what, maybe 5-6 years OLD man. I’m 18 now, all grown. The amount of Memories and nostalgia is amazing, I got teeth of my own. I’m happy I found you man

Great finds the party keeps on giving. 👏👏👏. The pufferfish is one of the biggest that I have seen. You had mentioned Chilean teeth previously. My buddy bought a tooth a few years ago that the colors were actually red and blue with a bit of white from Peru. He pick it up at the Tucson show several years ago. Thanks again for your video I do appreciate them.

its a shame the supply of teeth from Chile and Peru ended. I would like to have added more of those to my collection. I remember the first time i saw them. I was at a dealer's house and he showed me a huge box of them, must have been a thousand makos in it, all flawless and huge. I asked if I could buy some and he said, sure pick as many as you want. $8 each!! I was shy back then and I only grabbed 5. 🤦♂ i still have them though. they're insane now, especially the great whites. can't even find a meg to buy from there anymore.

Always cool to see your finds.. I made it over to the Peace River the week before last, it turned out to be the coldest day of the year. I waded in the river until my bag turned blue. Nothing but a few fossil chips. Been in Florida most of my life, and I still don't have a Golden beach tooth in my collection.
@blackriverfossils Жыл бұрын
good on you for trying to hunt the Peace despite the cold. i can't do it. even with the potential of a golden beach tooth! those are absolutely beautiful but very hard to find. keep looking! as long as you're hunting in the areas where they can be found, eventually you'll find one.

I am pretty lucky for certain, but she is lucky AND determined. You see some of the stuff that chik finds? she will dig nothing longer than anyone I've ever met if there is even a remote chance of something still there to find. Example: she goes to a spot we detected hard a few years ago. we stopped going because we werent finding anything. she still goes there and hand digs the areas where there was a lot of iron in the remote chance there is something else buried there. And you know what? she finds stuff still!
@dougforce7866 Жыл бұрын
Of course she does. Persistence pays off. You my friend stick a shovel in the ground and a 5” meg hops on the shovel. lol

Man, I so wish I didn't have these damned lung diseases. I just moved to Florida a few months ago from Indiana. Saw one of your videos the other day and have been binge watching the last 2 days 🤣🤣 Never knew this area was a supreme hot spot for Meg teeth. I totally WISH I could get out there and find some Megs.... with these lung problems and breathing, that ain't happening, UGHH..... 😭😭🤣🤣

sometimes, and its always when we are right there digging. the farthest apart I have recognized two pieces of the same tooth in the formation is just a few feet. thanks for watching!

HAHAHA!! Dude you are psychic! I was actually going to make that the title of a future video! anyway, i have wondered the same thing. what did this place look like 100,000 years ago? 1 million years ago? I would love to see what the meg formation looked like before the ice age rivers redeposited them.
