This song is one of my favorites from The Mourning, as well as one of my all time BVB faves. I got to see this band in September in Detroit and it was the best concert I've ever been to. Seeing a band that's been a huge part of my life, eventually becoming my all time favorite band, was so surreal and I'm still not over it. Love this band so much and every song they put out means everything to me

I found them with vale in 2018, I just quit my job and moved to a mobile home, the pandemic happend got laid off, and now have my current job but stopped working because it's too slow. I almost saw them in 2018, with asking alexandria and crown the empire and missed that show. I almost saw them on the trinity of terror show, and miss that show, and now I'm missing them with him's solo project. I bought all there cd's, and seen most of there interviews, and say that set the world on fire is my favorite record by them.

This group has never failed to blow me away. I've been part of the BVB Army since early 2012, and fell in love with their music in late 2012/9th grade year of high school. They were a huge part of my teenage years because before losing my dad almost 6 years ago, those were the toughest and darkest times of my life. (TW: Sensitive topics) I was very depressed, socially anxious/anxious in general, insecure, and struggling with self-harm on-and-off as well as having severe suicidal thoughts. There were people in my life who were, to say the least, toxic. A so-called "best friend" and someone I considered a friend, they almost constantly turned their backs on me. My best friend since 4th grade moved away a few months before 8th grade graduation, and I held onto that toxic friendship with my so-called "best friend" because I felt so alone and thought she was worth holding onto. But in the end, I completely cut her off, and haven't spoken to her/seen her in over 6 years. The song that made me fall in love with their music was Saviour from their 2011 album, Set The World On Fire. The song hit me hard back then because it was exactly what I needed: Someone to tell me that I wasn't alone, and that I would never would truly be alone. Over 10 years have passed since that day, and it hits me now because of how far I've come since high school. It's considered 1/2 of my all time favorite songs by BVB, with Saviour II being the other. I hope someday that I finally get to see them live because they were the strength I needed to make it through high school. I haven't self-harmed in over 2 and a half years. Been clean since February 18th of 2020. I stopped having suicidal thoughts for good in mid to late last year. I still battle depression, social/generalized anxiety as well as insecurities, but I haven't felt this happy in a long time. Thank you, BVB. The messages held within the lyrics of your incredible songs will always remain close to my heart. Once a member of the BVB Army, forever a member of the BVB Army. 🤘🖤
