Basically every guitar tutorial from a professional guitarist: "Okay, so you're going to do this: *plays crazy 24 measure guitar riff* And now that you got that, you're going to do this: *plays nearly impossible guitar solo* and then you do this: *plays insane outro lick* and then that's about it! Pretty simple."

Brian Jordan Bartels And you know the best part? A lot of people say that BVB aren't metal! wtf!?
@taekwondodude89 жыл бұрын
Gabriel Knight I know!! Just listen to some of their music... They are heavily influenced by metal and have lots of metal guitar riffs in their music.
@definitelynotgore9 жыл бұрын
Yeah vocals not so much, but instrumentals are definitely metal, even the new album is heavy. (instrument wise) I personally only listen BVB anymore for the guitar because the riffs are absolutely killer.

to answer your questions: Jake uses the BC rich mockingbird pro x has EMGs(81 bridge and 60 neck.) Idk what kind of EMGs the halberd usesbut im pretty sure its the same For strings he uses D'Addario EXL140 Nickel Wound, Light Top/Heavy Bottom, 10-52.For his amp he is currently endorsed by Peavey, so you could probably get a peavey practice amp for under $200. Unfortunately, there's no information on what kind of effects or pedals he uses (He said he doesnt like to rely on effects pedals though.)

Yeah sort of, The run on this is based more on the blues pentatonic scale. Not playing all the notes in that scale though. Originally I wrote legacy before perfect weapon and the first run down in perfect weapon was in the original legacy solo, but I stole it from myself for perfect weapon.
