They wanted to take the African to trial but the Africans revolted and attempted to massacre the Europeans and a shootout ensued. Greenwood has never been commonly called Black Wallstreet by any Tulsan! I lived at Pine & Peoria and have never heard anyone call it anything but Greenwood. Ronnie Wilson called his band Greenwood, Archer & Pine ( GAP Band) not Black Wallstreet. Not one massacre survivor uses the words” Black Wallstreet “ in their interviews on video. Every one of them said “Greenwood!”

Just wanted people to know that Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum presented a proposed municipal ordinance to aimed at cracking down on people experiencing homelessness. He introduced and raised literally every type of tax pushing business and people in poverty. Think twice before moving or living in tulsa county. I would recommend surrounding counties. Atlast most importantly don't vote for him again.
