@Z3U5 we did need Captain marvel whether it was a good movie or not because if she just showed up in endgame no one would know who she is and she would just be this powerful hero without any backstory. Black widow isn't needed because it's a prequel and isn't needed in any way. I'm pretty sure she doesn't need a full movie because she's dead so it doesn't matter what happens in the film because nothing about her will change. She will always be that badass assassin with a traumatic childhood who dies in endgame and had multiple fans crying. She didn't really have a major character arc but if she is suddenly given one after her death then it may be worse than making captain marvel
