That's how I started as Widowmaker in OW: get absolutely destroyed by everyone, questioning if I can play Widow, continue to play and get my ass kicked, slowly learned my mistakes, then seeing differences, polish my improvements, and finally start getting more kills and less deaths. Transferring into Black Widow, I started off similarly, but not too bad. Past experience helped a ton. Point is that we've been there before, even high-rank Widow players. We start off that "ritual" of starting off bad to get good, getting our ass beat only to turn the tables and beat some ass. 💪 Just have patience with the aim, be close to health packs and/or team, don't stay in same place too long, use & stay close to natural covers like corners and stairs with walls to fall in to reduce damage taken.

Ain't gonna lie I usually feel sorry for Widows on both my team and the enemy team considering how many dive characters they're are. But you've shown that she can be quite lethal in the right hands. Good shooting and well done!

Widow has a strong anti dive. It can leap and shot for headshot. The kick ability is the inverse of Bucky's grapple uppercut combo, so diver can't escape if they get caught in the kick. The stun after the combo gives an easy headshot

@@bigreendot only if you cancel it out properly. Little timing to get insta-shot after the hook kick. Most of the time you also need to be careful - only the hook gives stun, if you are interrupted between the kick and the hook kick - kick is wasted, you are stunned. As an anti-dive tool it's quite useful, even strong. But against a good dive/flanker it misses most of the time.

This is the exact shit that drives me insane because when I play spider-man too, literally today even for example I had someone say "Ong you're stupid if you think I'm healing your spider-man once, switch to a real hero" and I went 37-6 with 15k damage, the most kos in the lobby on both teams and 2nd most damage... but just like in your game... HE STILL DIDN'T HEAL ME and ignored me on purpose THE ENTIRE MATCH. Then we lost game 3 at 99% to 99% capture points, and he goes "GG, Classic spider-man throw" WHAT DO YOU MEAN SPIDER-MAN THROW IT LITERALLY SAYS MVP ABOVE MY HEAD You can see I was not even close the number one player in our lobby!! Do you know what might have made up that literally single 1% difference we lost by??? HEALING OUR BEST PLAYER ONCE. AHHHHHHHH People have it in their heads from tier lists not even their own opinions already of who's bad and "throwing" if you pick them, then THEY are the ones that actually throw because they're whiny babies who hate when the same 6 "meta" characters aren't played every single match. 😭😭😭

Theres two groups of people who hate Widow. People traumatized from Overwatch Widowmaker who are terrified at night of getting farmed by her the entire game. Yup I'm a Thor main, but when I see Widow. I'm making sure it has the widest line of sight on the supports. Putting keeping the supports far away from the front line, but still in line of sight. If we pick one support a good widow is leaping right behind my Thor and we're finishing the other supp by that time usually the tanks are wandering alone wondering where their heals are 😂

I personally envy (in a good way) those people who are masters at playing a sniper class. All these great shots no matter how fast the enemy is, just wow! Out of all playstyles, sniper is far from great in my hands. If I would try to do similar tricks as in the video, I would only hit anything except the targets, unless I stay very still and take time to aim. I honestly applaud both your and similar player's mastery! 👏👏👏

Hey on the off chance you read this would you ever be open to lightly discussing understanding your own character movement and others? Your shots are insanely clean and having amazing prowess as you can tell where a character might next reappear or in which direction they'll land. Its something I myself struggle with a lot and something I aim to improve on despite being a strategist main.
