Interesting how the final dash plate in Mute City 4 is a speed "hazard". We must avoid it to prevent being launched into the outside gravel area on the final turn.

Its a hazard if you can't do things optimally. If you angle yourself so that you go across the railing before the final turn, you'll be able to set yourself up for the final turn without overshooting it. But that gets increasingly hard as bumpers spawn in. Avoiding the dash plate is the safest maneuver and its better than taking it and overshooting. But taking the dash plate and turning optimally will give you distance over those who skip the dash plate.

All that is left are Forest I-III, and Metal Fort I and II. The healing sections could be added to Forest I and II as they were originally designed to be timer-based that you are allowed to keep on racing or crashing until time is up to go to the next course.

I don’t think they will add those tracks but I hope they do with their own songs, same with sandstorm tracks hope that gets updated

@@36Dorothea It would seem like the Port Town music would be used for the Metal Forts. Silence would have worked for the Forests.

Instead of no pit for forest, what if it was 500m? This is shorter than the shortest pit (at least pre 1.4) and would keep a similar feeling to the track.

I could see the Metal Fort tracks as a sort of survival/Death Race sort of thing; you’re on a track with missiles and other weapons being fired at you from outside as you race around.

I know this is less feasible because the graphics are way different, but would be sick to see them port the gba tracks in someday. perhaps just take the general layout and port it to this art style instead?

Im SHOCKED they actually rereleased these in any form. Imagine what an official rerelease of metal fort and forest would look like

I some how managed to beat this cup with Blue Falcon and Wild goose. But man in this cup it felt like everyone was out for blood.

I had that experience too, but for me, it seemed to depend when I joined the Grand Prix. If I joined immediately after the grand prix opened, then I usually ended up in a match full of pro players. But if I joined 5 minutes after the grand prix opened, the players I typically got were much more average. This grand prix in this video had a very average group of players.

What’s a real shame is that they didn’t offer a chance to hear the remixed themes; I have to admit that I was caught by surprise when I heard the new Big Blue track…

I find it strange that they didn't keep the wind for SS II. Due to FZ99 controls being different I don't think collisions would have been a problem.

your audio is incredibly clear. do you have a sound mixer, or surround sound?

This update destroys my OCD. The tracks are in the wrong order, and they play the wrong music. Should be Mute City IV...Big Blue II...Sand Storm I...Silence II...and then Sand Storm II. And Sand Storm I should be playing the Fire Field music, while Sand Storm II playing the Death Wind music WITH the wind effects. Sighs...
