Love these guys. Bought a book a few weeks back called HOW TO RAP by Paul Edwards. Gift of Gab is featured in the book and he comes up with some great advice on rapping. In the part on rhythm he says "I'm basically trying to be like another instrument on the track. I want to ride it just like the bass line is riding it, only with words. I wanna ride it just like the guitar or the violin or whatever instrument, just riding it".
