Such a great video. I’m literally just discovering Cartier and van cleef. This was perfect timing. The 2 motif earring much prettier on you. That earring is stunning in the black in the white gold 2 motifs. The van cleef bracelet looks like it’s goes nice with the holiday pendant. I just picked up the Cartier balon watch. It’s lovely and a Cartier bag. It’s actually pretty nice. Now my next van cleef piece will be the frivole earrings in white gold not sure on the size small or mini. After watching I am wondering if there is a point of getting the 10 motif MOP necklace if you can just join two 5 motif bracelets? I guess one con is that you can see the clasp? I really love how the guilloche bracelet looks connected with the MOP as a necklace. Please let me know your thoughts and pros and cons you see with either option? I am thinking there be more flexibility by getting 2 bracelets over the 10 motif necklace. Thank you very much. :)

I know what you mean, I was thinking about it too. It’s definitely a lot more flexible to get two bracelets, the only thing is that I had to shorten my bracelet. It’s just way too big. So in order to make a nice necklace, I have to make sure the second bracelet is kept at the original length.

I looked at the 10 motif MOP necklace for quite some time. I finally purchased it on the Secondary market. A jeweler I totally trust. It was yellow gold and beautiful. I had it less than 6 months and Sold it....... I do own the Guillous bracelet. I wear it and Love it♡

Yes just before the pandemic I went to my local store in NYC I have the Love and jus un clou I wanted to stack with alahambra I wanted a stone initially to break up having too much gold on my hand then she showed me the gulloche styled I loved it! Then she stated she doesn’t recommend this style for stacking cuz it scratches very easily. I quickly decided on the mother of pearl I’ll rather this piece and just be mindlful not to get it wet

Yeah that’s what I am thinking too, otherwise it will look like there is too much gold. I could wear both MOP + Guiloche. Actually often get my bracelet wet, when I wash my hands. It just happens. It still looks ok, but I have to be very carefully with chemicals, soaps and especially hand sanitisers 😅 they can destroy my bracelet

VCA is so addicting, isn't it? I tried on the MOP, carnelian and blue agate 5 motif bracelet last month and they did not sing to me so I am thinking about the onyx one, but knowing that a 10 motif necklace can be worn as a 3 strings bracelet, I think I might get the 10 motif necklace first. As for the diamond pieces, the amount of fund for the perlee bracelet can be used to purchase another stone that is precious to Asians and cannot be found in VCA. Anyway, you can't go wrong with any of the VCA pieces.

@@BlackandGoldStyle I agree with you. It is very important to think things through. I tried on the 10 motif necklace again and found out that it cannot be turned into a 3-string bracelet. And it seems that 5-motif bracelet is a better choice because it just feels right and it looks good on the wrist. As for the 2-motif MOP magic earrings, you are very lucky to be able to wear it well. I tried them on and it does not look right on me. Maybe because I am petite. But the frivole between the finger ring looks good on my hand. Thank you for modelling so many pieces from VCA.

bigger hoops are nice. cartier bracelet white gold I would not buy as white gold very quickly is removed you have to very carefully you can't use in the shower. every few years you have to rhodium plate white gold
