I'm so tired with all of these touchscreen devices that we use nowadays that I'm actually starting to want one of these. I miss the feeling of typing in an actual keyboard. lol

Consider buying on on eBay. You can get them both new and used as well as in the carrier of your choice or unlocked. I think I might get one as my personal business phone as I don't really need any apps besides phone calls, text messages and email exchange support.

I use a Passport now but I used the Bold 9900 for almost 2 years. It was my longest lasting phone ever and I loved it. I was a bit sad when I got rid of it in favor of the Z10. One thing I've almost always missed was the keyboard and after trying the Z30 for about a year I decided to switch back. I had the Passport or Classic to choose from and I chose the Passport based on the newer cooler specs and features. No regrets, I love having the keyboard under my fingers once again, an experience that I first fell in love with on the Bold 9900. I will always think fondly of it.

Physical keyboard for me is better than screen keyboards PROS -It builds up thenar muscles -the effort of texting messages button per button is more passionate than light touches. Efforts for your girl is a must. -It does not boast, and you can confidently bring it anywhere -It causes differentiation to other people, that it can make you unique. -It is black, so it is classy CONS -it consumes you more energy just to type texts -when you shift to touch phones, you might break the screen because of your enlarged thumb muscles. -blackberries are less in sweetness than apples in terms of sugar.

I judt ordered one. It will replace my Galaxy Note 5. :] I'm tired of all the fancy phines we have now and the lack of privacy.
@hoogstraten42718 жыл бұрын
Lack of privacy? Explain wise one what you mean by that?
@toferyo74738 жыл бұрын
+Xaspest7 Well, as it turns out, I ended up staying with my note 5 because A. it emits the least amount of radiation of all the smartphones and B. I found out about Samsung My Knox security which I installed and am now using. I also found out that I could encrypt my note 5 which I have also done. What I meant by lack of security was all the ridiculous app permissions that most of the apps we use have. On top of that, the batter is non-removeable the NSA has full access to your phone whenever they want even if it looks like it's off. Not a conspiracy, it was openly admitted years ago. Now I personally could care less about the NSA having access, nothing to hide, but who else really has access as well? and can i even trust the NSA to keep my stuff secret. But the real killer woth current smartphones with me is realizing how traceable my every move is, even though I keep my location services turned off... as far as I know. With my knox adding a second layer of encryption to all the apls that I use most of the time, I feel a bit better. I just don't want agencies and companies to track my interests or doings, it just bothers me. Go ahead and google your name. I found a website that tracked a bunch of stuff I had been doing. It had my home phone number, my street address, all my immiediate family members listed, my birthday, and google map image of my house. And get this, I'm one of those careful people with what I do on the internet. Basically, if you have an iPhone, and play Pokemon GO, say goodbye to any scrap of security or privacy you thought you might have. A current day smartphone is a government agency tracking device and money maker for thousamds of huge conglomerations that help them predict the future and crowd behaviors. Think of it this way, without extra measures of privacy, some people out there who aren't your friends know where you work, where you like to eat most often, what you ate, where you shop, who your friends and family are, how old you are... etc etc etc And has our goverbment really been that trustworthy lately?

Prior to this new Bold i was using the i phone 4, but this 9900 won me back hands down. @sol200997 you can actually turn off that setting :).. "green" means there are no new messages, "red" means a new message has just been received. By turning off that setting, the phone LED will only blink red in the event a new message has just been received. Therefore, even when your phone is on silent mode (no vibration/tone), you can just peek into your pocket/bag to see if theres a red light blinking. I turned off that continuos blink setting cos it annoys me too
