Saw BBS play a strip-mall bar in Buffalo, NY (The old Rock n Roll Heaven when it was by Ridge Road) touring their 1st album, must have been 2004 or 05. I'd never heard of them, just popped in to grab a beer or ten and after 2 songs I was hooked. I spoke with Charlie (lead singer/vocals) after the show and he gave me a free copy of their debut album (Bad luck ain't no crime) and I must have made 15 copies, I was turning everyone onto this band. Now it's Oct. 2019 and they're the best live band in America IMO and they release a new album every 2-3 years that's better than the last. I've also been playing guitar for over 27 years now and Charlie's solo and rhythm work blow me away over and over. I hope this band keeps going like the Stones, just playing until they die. Same. I was shooting pool in a large bar, in Richmond, VA. Thought they where just a bar band. The band's look and vibe after the first song, I knew they'd be something. Needless to say, I've seen them 6 times since and love the band. They ended the show with "freeborn man" and was a killer show infront of about 50 people. I met the band, I bought their CD. Great memories. I have backstage VIP passes to their next show here in Richmond, in August. Hopefully things will go back to normal and I can see them again.

Hey fans: BBS are not a cover band; they do GREAT covers, but Charlie and friends write so many of the songs on their albums. Check out the credits, for example, on the Home Coming concert. Charlie can sing the phone book, that is for sure, but he writes a whole lot of delicious songs. Lili in France

No shame Cindy; I saw BBS only 2 years ago or so on Colbert; And BBS has been together for 20 years now. Yikes. Walk, run, drive, hike, fly... get to a live concert.
