Sweet stones cover. Almost at reggae feeling in it.

It's a Buddy Holley song!!
@GBeret833 жыл бұрын
@@xeroherosmith3949 , exactly right. Holly sort of borrowed from what I call the Bo Diddly shuffle for the music, but if I'm not mistaken the words are all Buddy Holly's and the song is called "Not Fade Away." There's a video on KZbin from a few years back where Simon and Garfunkel incorporate Not Fade Away into the middle of their playing Mrs. Robinson right off the same drum beat and with Paul and Artie singing it together it sounds pretty damn good.

Old school rock done very well

I reckon that, wherever he is, Buddy Holly will be loving this

We spoke to Taz before the set and he said that he was playing along to "That Grateful Dead song", talented kid has limited idea about Bo Diddly and Buddy Holly.

I vote Taz Peach to take over for John Mayer, being Haynes didn't get it. I think Jerry would be STOKED. 😤
I only know this song from the stones! It was probably a cover they did? I'm too old to remember!
@JefeBirknerSeattle4 жыл бұрын
It's a Buddy Holly tune, covered by scores of other artists, including over 600 live performances by the Grateful Dead. Taz definitely knew this one as a Dead tune.

uh that's the bo diddley beat..

I even hate little Derek Trucks playing with ABB (search you will find it), gifted, dont need to work a 9-5.
@JefeBirknerSeattle6 жыл бұрын
Don't doubt that he worked his tail off to get there. The gifts are real, but they don't mean much if you don't also work very, very hard.
