Carolina boy here, from just outside of the home of the azalea festival. Seen these guys with Jaime Johnson in S.C. and was blown away!!! 54 yrs old and every song they play hits hard! Great song and video, every old car and building has a story of long gone but not forgotten people. 😢 definitely makes you wish you could go back home .

Azalea is an incredible song! It’s one of the few songs that move me very deeply. Not many songs these days do that like when I was younger. I can’t wait to catch the boys on tour this year and see them perform this future hit. If you’ve never seen Blackberry Smoke live you are cheating yourself out of an incredible performance. They are one the few bands today I go out of my way to listen to and see them perform. I hope everyone prays for Brit too. He needs your prayers more than ever.

Gotta tell you, I just bought the CD because I love the band and was hoping that there might be a couple of decent cuts. I was blown away… Never expected them to be able to equal the strength of their past work. Sat there and listened to it (all the way through) like I would an LP back in the 70s. Been a fan since it was just 4 guys opening for Jackyl arround early 2003.....been a long crazy trip over the years watching one of my favorite new bands grow so many more fans and mature so much musically.......I got an autographed CD from the first tour I bought it from Charlie himself, he went around and tracked down the other guys to sign it for me, all of them laughing it might be worth a fortune if they hit it big over night like Guns and Roses, I ended up talking with the guys about fixing up old musscle cars, 70s southern rock bands how every middle sized city has the same kind of people in the same dive bars, life on the road etc. Hung out for quite awhile like normal guys.....so happy to see them sucessful making a living making music.
