Carolina boy here, from just outside of the home of the azalea festival. Seen these guys with Jaime Johnson in S.C. and was blown away!!! 54 yrs old and every song they play hits hard! Great song and video, every old car and building has a story of long gone but not forgotten people. 😢 definitely makes you wish you could go back home .

Azalea is an incredible song! It’s one of the few songs that move me very deeply. Not many songs these days do that like when I was younger. I can’t wait to catch the boys on tour this year and see them perform this future hit. If you’ve never seen Blackberry Smoke live you are cheating yourself out of an incredible performance. They are one the few bands today I go out of my way to listen to and see them perform. I hope everyone prays for Brit too. He needs your prayers more than ever.

I was just a young teenager when I fell in love with this band back around ‘09; they opened for my first ZZ Top show. 15 years later and I’m just as much in love with them now as a man in my early 30s. Gotta tell you, I just bought the CD because I love the band and was hoping that there might be a couple of decent cuts. I was blown away… Never expected them to be able to equal the strength of their past work. Sat there and listened to it (all the way through) like I would an LP back in the 70s.
