Back then, my neighbor's kid hit my car with his bicycle and broke the tail light. It cost $60 to replace. Who knows what happened to Adam. But Jason, an innocent young man, lost his life, his parents lost their child, and his family lost their loved one. Elena lost her life and her parents lost a lot of money and their home. All this devastation for what was likely less than $100 in damage. Unbelievable.

The fact that Adam persisted in claiming self-defense is almost comical. This, most likely, wouldn't have been his only violent crime. He seemed unable to control his anger and impulses. I also agree with Lamont that the wife should have been charged as an accessory to manslaughter at the very least.

It is likely as a couple they got off on this. To Adam or Elena it did not matter who actually dinged the car so long as there was an excuse to hurt someone. It goes beyond likely that there were other incidents escalating to the murder. Jason was the unlucky person picked by Elena.

@robertstone9988
@robertstone9988 2 жыл бұрын
Well there was harm done to the car but still i get what your saying. I myself had to go through many years of Anger Management so I do kind of empathize with the dude who got his car hit it's too bad he couldn't get anger management before he threw his life away and ended someone else's unjustly. One of the hardest lessons to learn in life is sometimes you just have to take the L. Your car just got hit in the person took off you have been victimized and right now you have everybody sympathy but then you lose your cool and go from victim to a****** in the snap of a finger. I never lost my cool so bad that I stabbed somebody but I burned alot of bridges and I waged war on a lot of molehills that I didn't need to. Just because you're right doesn't mean that anybody gives a fuck. He was upset that someone smashed his car and was taking off to him nothing in the world mattered more than getting Justice the problem is nobody else but him do the f*** about that Thunderbird we value the human life over his car everybody sympathize for the guy with the broken tail light until he took someone's life. I once had a guy at work who would tattletale on me for the littlest things not because he went to run my life but because just to make himself look better. One day I learned some serious dirt on him decide to get some revenge and throw him under the bus for it. The guy lost his job what I failed to realize is the no one like me and everybody liked him nobody cared that he victimized me and tattle taled on me all the time all they cared about was I just call someone they liked their job. Sometimes you got to stop this is what my counselor said sometimes you have to stop and try to see the situation from everybody else's point of view instead of just yours. No matter how pissed off you are how much you think you were victimized you have to ask yourself does anyone else give a fuck? If they don't any kind of Revenge you seek for that victimization will be seen as over-aggressive and as you being a bully.

The day before Emery's scheduled formal sentencing, the FBI received a tip that Emery may have fled to Florida. The sightings after this followed geographic patterns, starting in Florida, and then later France and Italy. The FBI believes Emery is most likely in Italy, as he has family there. The FBI has worked with Italian authorities regarding these sightings, but none have led to any conclusions. In 2019, the FBI said that there was a "significant chance" that Emery would be tracked down within the next five years.

One lesson to be learned from this case: We should all behave like rational adults and take a breath and keep our tempers under control!!! Look at the innocent life taken (Mr Bass, the victim) and the lives shattered as a result of Adam and Elena Emory losing their tempers over a fixable situation. Mr Bass was murdered so young, The Bass family forever missing their son, Elena died, Adam might have died and her parents lost their home. All that tragedy over a fender bender and people raging over it. So senseless.

I Really wish we knew what info the authorities got between 2004-2010 to make them put Adam on the FBI top 10 wanted list after him being declared dead in 2004. It absolutely had to be something spectacular. Of course The easiest answer is they both jumped. If the authorities but Adam on the top 10 six years after he was declared dead that tell me that either Elena sacrificed herself to let him get away or he double crossed her. If Adam double crossed elena and ran off to Italy well, I have to wonder how her relatives in Italy feel about that. This was a great video Lamont

It's such a waste of that young man's life. What a beautiful day it was for you to cover this story. The perpetrator is probably still alive somewhere overseas. This couple was so narcissistic. And yes, it reminds of some of the violent, senseless crap that is going on now. It's crazy, scarey stuff and it's out of control.

Your an amazing storyteller lamont and always give these victims the respect they deserve and keep their memories alive. Because of your channel I'm actually about to start studying criminal psychology, I want to understand what goes through these peoples minds to commit such murders and crimes, why choose a life in prison over a life you can love, surely prison isn't on anyones dream list. It's like these murderers don't think about the consequences until afterwards and go into self pity mode. Thank you for the content as always. RIP to all victims of murder you all deserved alot more in life. Also to add to the bridge and suicides, if anyone here feels suicidal please know; You Matter, Your Loved and your Beautiful, please reach out to a professional, family or a friend there is help and if ever you go to that bad place with bad thoughts, breathe through them and don't act on them. Your life matters to me and you deserve happiness.

Totally agree. At least about Adam. He was either a narcissist, or a psychopath. Quite possibly both. The jobs in positions of authority, the anger, the lack of any empathy, remorse, or emotion, the complete refusal to acknowledge that he was to blame in any way, the insistence instead, that HE was the victim, the gaslighting (saying it was self-defense), the selfishness/self-centeredness, the complete confidence that he could talk his way out of it, or otherwise get out of it with no repercussions, the cunning, and, if he did push Elena, the obvious complete inability to love anyone but himself (and all of this, while masking and maintaining, to the outside world, the façade of a friendly, likeable, "normal" guy), are all textbook trademarks of the condition. I'm still not sure what to think about Elena. You don't usually see narcissists in relationships with other narcissists. They need someone co-dependent. Someone weaker, who they can manipulate and control. Because they like that power, like I said. But she did seem to share many of the same traits. Well, either way, I guess it's a moot point. Karma got her, and now, I believe, she's being judged by Someone Else. And she can never hurt anyone, ever again. It's Adam that we have to worry about. I think it's extremely plausible, if not highly likely, that he pushed Elena, and is still alive out there. And that's a terrifying thought. This guy is pure evil. A man with a craving for power, and the cleverness to get it, with no moral compass to guide him, and no concern for anyone he steps on, to get it. And he cannot be rehabilitated. There is no treatment for psychopathy. If he's still alive, he will kill again. Especially now that he's gotten away with it twice, and surely must feel invincible. I truly hope, if he is alive, the FBI tracks him down before he hurts anyone else. If he hasn't already.

The juxtaposition of the respective headstones says it all. The victim Jason Bass's stone is simple, modest, humble, unimposing, and understated. Meanwhile, the perpetrators' stone just HAS to be more prominent, elaborate, and placed right up at the front of that section of the cemetery. Its sentimental adornments belie the selfishness of their actions toward Jason Bass, as well as toward Elena's parents. Ordinarily I don't begrudge anyone having whatever kind of monument they and their loved ones' please, but in this case I can't help but bristle at the Emery couple's self-aggrandizement even in death, especially when one of them might not even be dead.

Unfortunately this is a case when keeping it real goes wrong. Nobody taught this guy that sometimes you just have to take the L. Even if he just chased him down and didn't stab him he would be still in the wrong. Some people have a really bad habit of going from the victim to the perpetrator in a snap of a finger. I used to be real bad about this most of my life until I got into some anger management counseling. The problem is you just see the world from your point of view. from his point of view a man just hit his car and victimized him and he's going to get away with it and nobody cares. But from buddy else's point of view he just lost his s*** over a tail light and killed somebody. You see you might really care about that tail light but to the rest of the world it's just a $30 taillight and it's better that you get a broken tail light and have to pay for it unjust or not, than someone die for simply breaking a tail light. I never went to the extreme of stabbing anybody but I had a real bad habit of dying on Hills that I didn't need to die on. I had this impression in my mind that just because I was right that I was owed Justice. Sometimes Society just expects you to take the L because it's not about you it's about all of us and the rest of us don't give a f*** about your broken tail light get over it. you got f***** over today tomorrow it'll be someone else's turn we don't get to wage Wars everytime we don't get our way
