Was there on Summerdale St. last week doing a segment for my graves channel. I was working just a few blocks away as a teenager apprentice Architect as all of this was unfolding in 70’s, I could’ve easily been one of those boys. Chilling and frightening to this day for me to walk by that house again. I was there one of the nights that they were pulling some of the last bodies out, under the Chicago police floodlights in the cold and snow. I’ll never forget it.

One thing alot of folks don't know about Gacy was that he lived in Las Vegas, NV for a short period of time, he worked at Palm Mortuary, he helped with embalming of bodies and slept on a cot behind the area that embalmed bodies. It is believed that one night he opened a casket of a young male and suddenly had an awakening, he called his mom to see if he could come back home, she said yes and he left the very next day to return to Chicago.

I lived in Park Ridge, about a mile from the Gacy house when all this was going down. My older sister went to school with a girl who lived a few houses down from that horror house. Due to the media and the constant flow of police, her parents let her live with us for a while. Gacy’s mother lived in the house with him during his killings. According to my sister’s friend, the mother was very friendly with everyone on the street and apparently clueless about her monster child. The property was vacant for several years until the current house was built. Probably difficult to sell because it’s too expensive for the working class neighborhood in addition to the property history.

If I remember correctly, Gacy owned (?) a KFC franchise, so I can see him offering free meals to the local cops to keep them on his good side.

If you’re still in Ohio check out a house outside Hamilton Ohio. A guy named James Rupert killed his entire family on Easter Sunday. 11 people total were killed. The house is still there and people currently rent it. I’ve seen the house and it’s as creepy as one would imagine.

I took some pictures of his paintings at the Fbi Museum in Pigeon Forge TN. One of his most unique was one he painted of the Mlb logo. It was signed by 33 baseball hall of farmers. None of the ballplayers knew who drew the painting

Thank you for doing my walking for me. I have had a stroke. I could never walk around as you do. Your vlogs are so good. You do your research and are a great story teller. I love that you are so respectful to the victims. John Wayne Gary was such a creepy individual. Such a very evil man. His punishment was no where near severe enough. Cases like this convince me that we need the death penalty. I wouldn't want to live there or to have one of his paintings.

That dude was one sick puppy. I would not dout there are still skeltons on that property. He also made kids toys. I saw a truck with a long compartment on the back with clowns painted on it. Great job in telling his story. Stay safe out there.💖

Lamont I just want to tell you that I thoroughly enjoy your videos. I don’t know your story but appreciate the effort you make to take us along on your journeys. I cannot get around well after an accident a few years back so I go along with you. I watch all of your videos. I have a love of cemeteries as I’ve realized many others do as well. I’d like to also say that I’m a pretty good judge of character and I surmise that you are a very nice man. Journey on and stay safe!

When I lived in Japan I would often see a priest doing a cleansing/blessing ceremony on the bare land prior to building anything on that site. At work sometimes money would be collected for funeral expenses for colleagues families who passed away. A package of blessed salt would be sent by the family in return as thanks and for purification. Also bars and businesses have 2 small mounds of salt put in the doorways edges before the start of the business day.

Apparently this house was sold this past April. It would be interesting to know how long the owners live in it before it’s up for sale again.
