Blackbirds Harass A Great Blue Heron

This heron was searching for bugs in the brush along the river bank. Evidently the local blackbirds have laid claim to this patch and are not happy about the heron's attempt to sample their food source. Repeated dive bombs don't seem to be much of an irritant. The heron doesn't seem the least bit bothered by the repeated attacks.
