The anime ending is just too dark for a kid show in my opinion (Haru will keep on having allucinations about his dead Friend), although it's open and ambiguous (Yujin's just died, but Haru, Offmon and the others are too happy). Any chance Yujin has been appliarized? Just like Haru's grandfather.

Digimon universe Appli monsters. I really liked this anime even though I will be in my thirties soon. I actually think that this season was really good it was maybe a little better than first season because the main characters actually experienced loss of their partners, the only characters who experienced loss was taichi and takeru, of course the final moments when they lost their crests but that was it. In universe however our four characters experiended loss of their partners when their appli drives got destroyed it is not at the level of tamers, but still this anime is way better than what adventure tri was supposed to be.

This should have been the show that revitalizes the franchise with a lot of the show going back to its roots of Adventures and Tamers. Sadly people where to hanf up about it not being Digimon but Appmon and didnt gave it the chance it deserved. Its a shame, my personal No.3 after Adventures and Tamers. Great fucking show

If you loved xros you'll most likely either love appmon as well or dislike it, as xros wars made a lot of fighting and a very well built world set unlike appmon who's a little more slice of life, but just like xros wars it made the app/digimon have way more charisma than previous series as its characterization is brilliant and really well built In general you should give it a go

This anime is miles better than these imo. what make them say 02 is good is how they overshadowed by nostalgia. i mean i have suffered from same mindset back when frontier come, but rewatching it with open mind changes my perspective a lot. That's why i dislike 02 so much after rewatching it.
