Never had the chance to go to Blackdown but I almost went to Bordon for an Admin course. I ended up as a Cadet going to six-week camp at Valcartier and during this time, we went on the very first Cadet exchange to Vernon in 1969. I'm 67 now but a time in my life I will never forget.

7:00 I was there for basic expedition and the MRE’s we got on the expeditions were way better than the food. I don’t know what they fed these GT’s but it’s definitely not the food they fed me

I was also there this summer (2018) I did the sports and fitness instructor course which was six full weeks.I connected with a lot of people and it was there was a lot of drama. I also knew Cadet Bourassa she was really nice to me at camp. Her tent was actually in front of mine.

I'm in cadets lol . I'm with 32mp 1405 company and I was at blackdown when they where there and all of the info in this video is true and I was also in m coy witch is basic expedition lol I was 59 platoon team 1 with warent bodgree and the rucks wigh like 50 pounds and they hurt so bad lol I was there for 6 weeks

GooseMoose Alright. At echo, it was a long hilarious story only my tent actually knows. One day, there was this one kid in my tent, I’m not sure what his problem was but he might’ve had some form of brain damage. Anywho that kid, we nicknamed him Sped, one day lost his pants (combats). Well he got a little angry, started punching a lot of stuff and generally screwed up our tent, so the MP’s had to get him to calm down and so locked him in the bathrooms. Well, he started to try and destroy the bathrooms, and he got arrested and RTU’d. After his attempt to destroy the bathrooms, everything, and I mean EVERYTHING started falling off the walls. Eventually, 2nd Lieutenant Gibb (air force from Thunder Bay) was chosen to be the guy to yell at us (not me though, I was off somewhere else).
