Books, Vlogs, & Movies Can't Define Your MC Experience

From Texas Red; Through vlogs and books have helped me determine I do not want to join a motorcycle club. That does not fit in with my pursuit of happiness, but I pray y'all be blessed and God go with you. Unfortunately, joining a motorcycle club, and whether or not it is right for you has nothing to do with anyone else's journal, Vlog, blog, book, or movie. It can only be based upon your experience. I watch you guys quite often. Based on that I would never join an MC. I’m too old and my life is too peaceful to bring in all of that drama. Y’all may not realize it but you continue to make the case to run when you hear MC. When I ride alone I don’t have to worry about the guy next to my stabbing me in the back. Brotherhood and loyalty are thrown around like dollars in a strip club. From the stories you all tell those values are rarely adhered to. I enjoy the stories of the culture but that’s where it ends for me. Kind of reminds me when people talk about church. They whine and complain about the people but go back every Sunday for more abuse.

I understand your perspective but as I said in this video - you cannot judge by my experiences. You have to go and get your own. My walk might not be your walk. My content is made to discuss the good and bad and help steer people, but it is still like a hollywood movie. Only the most egregious cases are discussed because that's what people want to know about. It can give a false narrative making it seem like every second there is drama and issues. This is not the case in most MCs. Get your own experiences. Don't live vicariously off of mine.

Do your research. Ride ,talk and walk with members of the different clubs your interested in , hell look them up on the Interweb..I had 2 clubs in mind when I was looking ,the first club was a OMC (i have a long history with them before joining and I'm now a full patch member)and the 2nd a 99% (I admire their dedication to pounding miles and the respect they get nationwide) I tried for 2 years to reach their closest chapter but got no response so I moved on , yes MC's aren't for every rider but if your looking take your time and be social to the MC members you meet and you will find your brothers!

It is what it is. I had already made up my mind decades ago. The older I get the less likely I am to change. You and Hollywood attract a lot of eyeballs by reading the news reports where clubs get in trouble. The downside to that being if some young couple is watching your show and the guy babbles something about joining a club one day the girl is going to look at him and say "Are you paying any attention at all to what they are saying?" Much like pretending to throw a bone but not giving a dog anything to chase more than once you and Hollywood have said you wanted to stop covering all the negative and just start covering the positive. The problem with that being most people would rather stare at a car crash than a rose garden. Then there's me. I would rather jump on my motorcycle and ride a back road by myself, relaxing, to a rose garden and maybe take a few pictures and then get my butt home. Nowhere in that back road trip do I need to go 100 miles an hour. I don't need to argue with any fellow bikers where we should eat that day. I don't need to answer for what somebody else did wrong while wearing the same patch that I'm wearing. Being an independent has its advantages. I encourage people to learn how to ride a motorcycle and at least once in their life try out the fun that is owning one and having Adventures on it. I am forever hooked on motorcycles and for-never hooked on clubs. As far as Sons of Anarchy goes I can honestly say I never followed the plot any I set their patiently waiting for the 2 minutes of motorcycle riding in each episode. Well at least they were pretending to ride a motorcycle I've seen videos where it was staged haha. Put my ass on TV you won't need it to be staged I'll honestly ride the damn thing.

Just like the rockers in highschool, hang out BUT KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN :) *been a METALHEAD since highschool and my people have always had my back* 🦾😎 and if you feel they earned your respect continue to hang out for a few more months before *asking about prospecting*
