Me and my dad call him Wrecky Stenhouse. Oh. Fun fact, I was at an Pocono Race one time and I had Clint Bowyer’s guys sign my catalog, they drew a Mustache and a Go-tee on Ricky Stenhouse (I think this was after he wrecked a huge amount cars at Daytona). It was pretty funny. I didn’t realize till I left (I looked at the catalog at and laughed).

Then when the team loses its best driver, they inherit a Cup rookie that never lived up to expectation. Newman has RF moving in the right direction and they have a new wheelman. Fastenal, awesome looking paint schemes, signs some really fast drivers...you would really think that they would have accomplished more but the drivers just haven't been able to get the car to victory lane in the Cup Series. Carl Edwards was probably the best driver with Fastenal sponsorship but Ricky Stenhouse wasn't to bad but he never got the scheme in victory lane.

Talk about the Caterpillar curse. Cars with Caterpillar as the primary sponsor haven't won a race since New Hampshire of 2002. (Ryan Newman won at Phoenix once, but he had quicken loans as his primary sponsor that day.) While some of their drivers weren't amazing (scott wimmer, anyone?) They've had Ward and Jeff Burton, Ryan Newman, Dave Blaney, Daniel Hemric, and now Tyler Reddick. To this day, not one of them have won in the yellow and black. I'd be super interested in a video about them.
