@@romulus_ yeah, me too. For whatever reason they ended up cancelling a bunch of other shows they had lined up for that tour. When Kamaal first got on stage that night he said "you all are the chosen ones. But we'll get everyone else next year." 🤣 Glad I didn't miss that show!

My favorite part was at the end where the tenor player is playing the most ripping solo and then he goes for that real high note but it's the wrong note, but he keeps playing it anyway so then it becomes the right note. Awesome.

Yeah I have been recently discovering a lot of these guys from this scene. I’m from the US and I gotta say that I don’t understand what a lot of these guys are doing vocally. Not just this performance, but multiple different guys/performances. It’s just a vibe that I find kind of irritating. Different sensibilities I guess. I like the music so much maybe I’ll listen enough to dig the vocal style someday.
