this type of trance is about the actual music - chords, phrasing, dynamics, notes, textures, rythyms, a mood, reverb, and echo, its about emotion how you respond to the sound, not about heavily compressed, heavily vocal, simplified cliche message, pop stars packagd with a pop culture videos. Trance is definately not for all people, some don't like listening to music, and would rather just hear and identify an artist and recollect some lyrics.

Very well said. Most of the popular crap that is played over and over again on radio stations over the past 40 years is nothing more than the equivalent of the mobile over a baby crib. It's just White Noise, with no depth of thought or emotion whatsoever. This type of music is certainly not the only type I like, but it's one of them my top 3, because it helps me to get into my head and my emotions a little more. Not everything out there that has lyrics, sucks. But I will agree with you. The vast majority of it does. What the hell are the artists really saying, anyway?
