Whatever reason (I don't know why) many of the older and even a newer western never gets advertised or even in theaters now, tech invention is not always a good thing for the new films go right to DVD and millions never know it. Anyway, I never saw this older film and it seems to be a fine one, with the well-known, great Howard Duff, Victor Jory, others. A close lady friend of mine said she, a number of her friends and her daughters met me and said I looked like Mr. Duff...well, I am very old now, but Duff, one of my favorite actors, a good compliment when I was 45. (NOT vanity. Just a remark.) Duff made this a good film.

Nothing spectacular, but very watchable. The real Blackjack Ketchum was hung in 1901 in New Mex. for attemped train robbery. They made the rope to long and he was decapitated.

A. Very. Good. Classic. Western. Movie. 🎉🎉🎉 nice. Movie. To. See. 🤠👌
p.s. Wow. This was one of the better westerns I ever saw. It did not have all that stupid, asinine attempted Festus or Smiley Burnette comedy, all the fake, made up idiocy of 98% westerns. Great film.

Pro Tip Trivia: Bill Tannen, who plays the role of the Havalik, the gunslinger working for Tetlow, was reportedly a notorious homosexual back in the day according to some of those who are credible enough to take seriously. One never knows, though because back in those days they made it a point to keep up pretenses of normalcy. On the other side of the spectrum was the beautiful and wonderfully heterosexual Angela Stevens, who plays Laurie the stupid blonde - what a hottie - and a very "active" and accommodating young lady back in the day as well.

Overacting at it's finest. Weak plot absent suspense. This movie must have killed Howard Duff's career.
