According to Wizard of Odds, for double deck blackjack where the dealer hits on soft 17, you should only hit an A,6 against a dealer 2. I hope that helps!

glad to see you using the basic strategy card. having used it myself for 20+ years, it was tough to watch your older blackjack videos. only a few mistakes this time.:) p.s. when you win a hand and you need reds for the next hand, ask to get paid in red. its easier in the dealer.

Yes, the blackjack rules will vary by casino. As it says on the table here, the dealer hits on soft 17.

This is an honest question. Why do you count the tip you gave the dealer at the end as part of your profit? My parents do that also and I don’t understand. If i tip someone, I lost that money.

Because it’s not part of the game. To me, the win/loss is based on the game itself, and the tip is a personal choice. I hope that helps.

@@brianbowman5180 not a sucker bet on kings bounty. On 21+3 it sure feels like it as the highest payout is 30:1 with a max bet of 300, which is most likely going to lose. Like 89% of the time. In kings bounty you're more likely to land a 20 than any other hand.

I've only been to a casino once. But my cousins told me, you can always ask the dealer. They usually help you out since they are trained in basic strategy.

The casinos I play at have no issue with using a strategy card!

I don't think they would have a problem with it however you may generate more heat because basic strategy and card counting go hand in hand so don't be surprised if you find you're getting noticed by pit bosses etc. Shouldn't result in you getting backed off though. I would suggest playing some blackjack online for a while first though as it doesn't take all that long to learn basic strategy backwards, forwards and upside down. Took me maybe 3-4 months to have it perfect where i wasn't second guessing myself at all and right now I'm working on keeping a running count and memorising the deviations. Basic strategy is the easy part 😂

I don’t think it makes any difference. The cards are in a random order. You can too anytime you choose. For me, it’s much easier to tip at the end so I can calculate the win/loss for my session. I hope that helps!

Nice comeback in the end. That splitting 4’s hand came through in the clutch. Reminds me of a time at Mohegan Sun where I split 7’s against a dealer 6 and before I knew it I had 9 bets out there lol. Dealer busted, thankfully lol. I was sweating bullets that hand haha. I miss the single and double deck games in Vegas. I can count, so it’s advantageous for me to play those games. The only bj games I have around me are 8 deck auto-shuffled games.
