Moonstone quickly rocketed to the top of my favourite tabletop wargames. My son and I have played more Moonstone in the last year than I have played wargames in the last five.

Brilliant interview. And Thank you Tom, for the interview 🙏. I had to chuckle when you mention the inspiration being Froud, and Labyrinth as I always imagined that if you locked Gilliam with his delightful Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairies book and Froud, with Labyrinth and that sums up the moonstone aesthetic and humour 😃

It’s certainly a great aesthetic that no one else has managed to capture as well. Glad you enjoyed it mate.

Thanks Tony. :) Froud is such a hero, I'm gonna have to try and track down a signed book of his one of these days. Keep buying Moonstone so I can afford one. 🤣

This was a great interview! It's a really inspiring success story and I hope the game gets more recognition. I'm definitely going to try the game out. The art style alone hits all the right spots and the rules sound very interesting!

These sculpts look amazing. I don't know a thing about the game but the character in the models and their design alone makes me want to play.

They’re beautiful models aren’t they. So nice to see something different than the norm.

It's a very clever skirmish game. A lot of bluffing involved and some very strategic decisions. The game has so much character. I cannot recommend it enough.

Fantastic interview! If there is another KS in the summer, I may finally jump in. I've been tempted ever since the last and KS is usually the best place for anyone outside the UK/EU I think. Even if I'm not able to table the game, the entire range is absolutely wonderful. Love the theme so much.

I found out about this game just a few months ago and had to jump right in. Tom has a fantastic game on his hands. The minis are beautiful. The gameplay is amazing. Thank you for bringing your passion to light Tom!

I've only played 2 practice games so far using the starter set, and I must say the card mechanics are absolutely fantastic! That's what really sets this game apart for me. The minis are beautiful, and there seems to be a decent sized community locally, so getting a game should be fairly easy. This is a game I'm planning on putting some serious effort into in the new year 👍🏻

Another great interview. I love the aesthetic of this game. It's one I keep looking at, but have never been able to pick up. Maybe 2023 will be the year I finally do.

Excellent interview 👏 I absolutely love moonstone but it's the same old story of finding local players to give something different a go

Finally had a chance to give this a listen to. Not sure my painting will do the minis justice but they sure as hell look cool and different enough to at least try. Top stuff, will look forward to seeing more from them.

Am I the only one that expected this to be a video for a remake for the game Moonstone on amiga?

Moonstone has spoiled other miniature games for me as it's so easy to create a troupe and have a good game. Our local club has adopted it as our most-played game. Awesome and awful to hear we'll have to wait until Summer 2023 for the next Kickstarter!

Great game, glad to see it getting more exposure. Another game that shares a lot of similarities with this that would be good to highlight on your channel is Bushido. Unique gameplay, small model count, awesome miniatures, small dev team and a passionate ever growing community behind it.... possible to get in touch with the developer and have them on the show for a discussion about the game?

Late to comment, but the one drawback of cards for us old timers is readability. Moonstone isnt too bad, but an A5 format plain background alternative available for download might be nice.
