Blackland Osprey Razor, First Use. Frank Shaving 24mm Boar. Van Yulay Soap, News ?

OMG what a cracking razor. This is its first use and I’ve got to say it won’t be its last. It’s a beautiful well engineered razor, along with a Treet black beauty I find it a great combination. The orange and cranberry soap from Chuck and made by van yulay. Don’t forget the givaway put in #FRANKSHAVING to enter. Hope you enjoyed the video of me working some 25years ago. Great shave Paul. I'm not entering the contest because I have enough soaps and gear at the moment and I want someone who is new to the wet shaving hobby to win it. It's simply amazing how steel is made and it never gets old watching someone make it.

Thank you brother, it was hot and heavy work but there is not many rolling mills left in Sheffield now I would say around 3 or 4 and that’s it. I hope you have a great weekend Atb Paul

Awesome shave and review Paul, thanks for showing us that footage. It's good to know there's still quality steel producers in the Western world. all the ones here in the US are gone, I know where there's a couple of Sheffield steel straight razors at the local antique shops. Thanks Rusty, that’s just one of the steel mills I worked in. plus we all was made redundant from there. That’s when I moved from Sheffield to Lincoln and took early retirement. My son has always done things that challenged him 😂 he’s not like me for that 😂 Thanks brother Atb Paul
