King Danny, remember that many of the other top athletes are from larger a d more prosperous countries. This means they have a much greater potential to earn. Larger companies who can pay more for endorsement deals. Jamaica has limitations were that huge source of earnings is concerned. This impacts the earningdms or the athlete. Also if the athlete doesn't have a financially savvy team or advisor this can also create limitations in their earnings. You are correct however that their earns could be more. Bless up 🙏🏾

Pro T&F athletes do get appearance fees for Track Meets. Usain Bolt was making $250-500G and better per appearance in Diamond league, but he really was an outlier..he was box office/ showtime. Yohan Blake was getting 75G-150G per appearance in his prime years..not sure what he’s getting now. It all depends on your resume and drawing power.
