Wow, this mod is amazing and tops current nfs games by far! The dense traffic and random pile ups, lightning storm flash in absolute darkness! An actual reason to use the speedbreaker in genius! Makes an amazing video and probably even the best nfs playthrough ever on YT.

I really like the colors and the lights, it gives me NFS Underground vibes. I think the races look better at night somehow. I find the possibility of getting totaled in normal races annoying, especially as the race distance increases. It's nice that there are fans of the old NFS parts who make content for them.

I'm not sure if you know this, but if you perform a high-speed (as in, very, at least 110mph i believe) drift complete with countersteering, your speedbreaker rapidly regenerates to full in as little as a second. The main trouble is getting that to happen especially in this situation. The way i know to do it works with most cars, which requires setting your aerodynamics to the minimum setting and applying minimal countersteer, so that the car doesn't immediately auto-correct. This trick has saved me a bunch of times in high heat pursuits.

I just discovered this recently as well, but i tried to do this during a race; and a cop just T-Bone'd my car in the middle of the drift lol Having a drifty car is also very dangerous with this mod, because i need as much grip as possible to push the cops away if they do manage to surround me, so most of the time i'll end up maxing the aerodynamics all the way to the right to minimize grip loss

Love this video series for a lot of reasons: You made changes that are fun even just by watching! Made me want to try it myself. And the changes are still thoughtful, like giving the rival extra HP so they don't get totaled easily. The stormy night setting is great, though I wish the headlights can be kinda stronger (at least farther, so you can see those sneaky SUV a bit fairer). The custom songs are actually great to hear during racing. And finally, the captions mirror close too to my reaction, making the fun watch further engaging. All in all, keep making this series it's great!

I started playing NFS MW 05, because of you again. The mod makes it so hard. I am now getting "bounty" to challenge Baron, unfortunately my stock EVO 6 wasn't fast enough for "level 3" police. First time I've been busted in a long time. I feel like modern NFS are so much easier than the older ones😅

Damn dude you're making progress! You gotta abuse the speedbreaker to your advantage to survive the cops, it's the only real advantage we players have over the AIs in the mod! Buying nitrous will help too, you can repeat older races to help you get just enough money to buy nitrous, my modscript also buff the cash reward you get by x20 from knockout races so that should help with money problems too

Heir i need help, i installed all of your scripts but on the first race, vic always crashed and gets totaled on that first right turn corner by the gas station, i tried restarting the race 5th times but he still crashed on the same spot over and over again.

About the Blacklist Rivals, you basically need to buff the HP of the car they use (in this case the Supra) I hope you can follow this, i'll try to explain what you need to do in vlted: 1. Open vlted, scroll down and find 'pvehicle' node 2. Extend the 'pvehicle' node, then go to default > cars > racers > supra 3. Right click on the 'supra' node, and choose "Edit Fields" 4. You will see a list of nodes, you need to find 'damagespecs' and check the box at the left side of the 'damagespecs' 5. You just added a new node into the Supra, look at the right side of the window and find 'damagespecs', it should be under "optional" nodes on the right side of the window 6. You should see a bunch of 0x00000000, you need to replace these with: For the "class", you need to type "damagetype" For the "collection", you need to type "copghost" 7. We're almost done, now look at the left side of the screen, scroll up and find the "damagespecs" node 8. Once you find it, expand the node and head to default > cars > cops > copghost 9. Look at the right side of the window, and find "HIT_POINTS", now you can freely edit that value to increase/decrease the HP of the Supra, keep in mind that the increased Supra HP will affect both AI and you (Player) Sorry for the long text, i hope you can follow this and adjust the value yourself. The reason why i didn't do this in my script is because i didn't want specific cars to have much higher HP for players to use (because doing the above will affect both the Blacklist Rivals and Player)
